The Oxnard Monday Club is now accepting grant applications from 501(c)(3) organizations working to strengthen our community. We are committed to supporting programs that serve farmworkers, address basic needs, and empower youth in Oxnard.

Gabriela Rodriguez is the Title V Grant Director for "Proyecto Éxito" at Oxnard College, where she has over 18 years of experience increasing student success, reducing the academic achievement gap, and implementing initiatives like the Basic Needs program and Dream Resource Center. Gabriela Rodriguez is the Title V Grant Director for "Proyecto Éxito" at Oxnard College, where she has over 18 years of experience increasing student success, reducing the academic achievement gap, and implementing initiatives like the Basic Needs program and Dream Resource Center. She sits on the boards of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County, the Oxnard Police Department Chief's Advisory Committee, LUCHA Inc., and "I'm a Kid Who Can."

Robyn More has dedicated her career to working with children. As a mother of five and grandmother of six, she brings a deep understanding of family dynamics and child development to her work. Robyn joined the Oxnard Monday Club to connect with passionate individuals committed to serving others, and she finds inspiration in the enthusiasm and dedication of the club's members.

Carol Zuniga is deeply committed to serving the Oxnard community through her work with people and organizations. Her dedication and willingness to contribute wherever needed reflect her passion for making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Vicki Martinez is a retired accounting manager for the City of Port Hueneme. Born and raised in Oxnard, she is passionate about volunteering and supporting her community through meaningful service.

Melissa Rodriguez is an Oxnard native committed to building a healthier community. She is proud to serve as a member of the Oxnard Monday Club, where she contributes to initiatives that strengthen and support the local community.

Lorena Rosas works for the Ventura County Department of Child Support Services and has a passion for volunteer work. With her extensive career as a public servant, she brings effective communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to the Oxnard Monday Club. Lorena's empathy and compassion guide her approach to supporting and understanding those in need.

Angeles Small has over three decades of experience spanning in journalism, educational leadership and mental health specialization. Currently she works for the County of Ventura where she provides critical mental health support to thousands of families.

Cherri Ziegler retired after 35 years of dedicated service in the Ventura County Community College District. Her career included roles as division secretary for the Math Science Division, instructional aide, and part-time instructor in the Business and Technology Division.

Cindy Pike enjoys learning new things and trying out creative ideas. Enjoys collaborating with others and finding solutions to challenges. She tries to live life with positivity and gratitude.

Aracely Avila is a fund development professional with a deep commitment to community service. She currently serves as Development Officer at the Moorpark College Foundation and understands the importance of investing in the next generation. Aracely serves as President of I'm a Kid Who Can Organization and is an active board member of One

She is passionate about creating opportunities and making a positive impact in her community.

Denise Carter embodies the spirit of a true renaissance woman—a comedian who brings joy, a podcaster who fosters connections, a healthcare professional who cares for others, and a leader who gives back to her community. She was a 20205 She L.E.A.D.S. Honoree and received the Community Service Award from the Ventura County Medical Association in 2018.

Irene Ortiz is a dedicated Realtor. She truly loves what she does. She takes pride in serving others. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family & friends. She enjoys volunteering and connecting with people, and giving back to our community.

Charlotte Magana has enjoyed a fulfilling retirement for the past 10 years. Joining the Oxnard Monday Club has allowed her to give back to the community by volunteering with organizations that serve those in need.

Sylvia Ortiz serves as a board member for several nonprofits and remains dedicated to volunteering and supporting events throughout Ventura County. After retiring from a nonprofit organization, she continues to share her time and experience to help others. Additionally, she works as a promoter, collaborating with a team to organize successful community events.

Gerri Hardy is a lifelong resident of Ventura County. She retired from Anthem Blue Cross after 20 years in Medical Insurance. She's proud of belonging to our club and giving back to our community.

Gloria Perez As a public servant for 30 + years, She has had the privilege of servicing the community in the Oxnard Plains. She has witnessed far too many families facing challenges in meeting even their most basic needs. Those experiences have shaped her commitment to action.

Helen Gonzales has been a member with the Oxnard Monday Club for 12 years and enjoys the camaraderie. She enjoys volunteering and especially meeting new people. She plans to continue to support and contribute to our community.

Karen Moraga is retired. She's a Mom and Grandma who enjoys spending time with family and friends. She likes to dance and listen to music. Enjoys volunteering for non profit organizations.

Debra Cordes is a retired school principal. She has dedicated over 35 years educating the children of the Oxnard community. She is dedicated to the betterment of the local community for today and the future.
